The Importance of Clearly Marking Your Luggage

Every traveler's nightmare is arriving at their destination and not getting their luggage!  Many bags really DO look alike, as the announcement will remind all of us constantly!  To be sure that you can spot your bag quickly and easily, attach a bright, unique tag or ornament to your bag.  Please click here for a great selection of tags.  In addition, you should have regular luggage tags that you have ONLY your first and last name and cell phone number on.  For safety, DO NOT PUT YOUR ADDRESS ON YOUR LUGGAGE TAG!  If the airport personnel needs to reach you, they can refer to your cell phone number or check their records. 

Place Your Baggage Claim Ticket in Your Billfold As Soon As You Get it!

Ever ended up without your luggage at the airport?  The first thing that the airport luggage personnel will ask you for is your baggage claim receipt. It is handed to you when you check in your bags.  It's rather small, so you can drop it VERY easily.  If you don't have your claim ticket, you can be in for a lot of hassle and even a total loss. When you get it, put it in a safe place and hope you don't need it!
